She finished her first knitted sock! With her very own paws hands!!
Wouldn't it be easier to buy the 3-for$10 pack at WalMart? |
Now, she has knitted shawls and scarfs and is a total whiz at dishclothes (strange but true)........but never had the nerve to attempt socks.
So, after many, many hours....and panicked trips to the Yarn Shop for classes and moral support.........and enough HBO words to fill a Encyclopedia........she now has ONE sock.

Gosh! That sock is Most Wonderful! There is no way, no how that my mom could knit a sock. Or, well, anything else for that matter. I'm real proud of her! But I hope she gets that other sock made real soon.

Your mom is full of talent! Dere is no way mine could do dat!
Woofs and Licks,

Is Pickles quality control? If we order, do we only get one sock?
She'd better get busy on the other sock or that one will be worn out.

Ok, we will put in our Christmas orders now, he he! Good job though to your momma. That sock sure was stressful. No please don't give her a heart attack and steal it to chew on.

Congrats to your mom for the near impawsible feet (oops, I mean FEAT) of knitting one sock! If she doesn't feel like knitting it's twin she could just give it to you as a play toy....what do you think?

Well, at least she's not naming the socks! That could take quite a bit longer. Pickles, I'd hope that the second sock takes her a while, because you know next she'll be knitting dog sweaters!

Wyatt and Stanzie

And, we are nominating you for style- check it out tomorrow.
Pickles my mom said to tell your Mom she takes off her hat to her...Mom has tried unsuccessfully to crochet socks. That is one gorgeous sock your mom made!!! Well done!!!
Hugs Madi
Pickles, at first we thought YOU knitted the sock! That would be very talented for a pup. Your Mom did a good job on the sock. One sock is better than nothing! :)
Nice sock but your right where's the other one.
Guess what? Me amd Mommy got a foster, a little blind boy named Weenie and he looks like my brother Jacks. Come over and see hi., he is so darn cute He is gonna to an eye specialist tomorrow to se if there is somethingf they can do to restore some of his sight.

That one sock is most impressive indeed. Our mom also loves socks and has a strange attachment to them. What is up with mom's and socks? This humans are so silly sometimes.
flash, alven and dottie
Pickles please tell your Mom she has been an inspiration to my mom. Mom find an easy crocheted sock pattern. Before the creeping crud struck the mom she started on it. Thus far it is going well. We'll keep you posted.
Madi and Mom
I has toilet paper to wipe yur eyeballs.
Puddles
Wow! We are impressed with the SOCK! Your Mom should be proud - that is quite an accomplishment. OUR Mom would NEVER have the patience for knitting! She's more of 3 for $10 kind of sock person :)
The Road Dogs
Well done! My Nelli also likes handknitted socks, she has even tried to eat one.
