Its Fireworks Season......my most UNFAVORITE holiday of all. Unless you counts New Years Eve..which, unfortunately, also includes the insane habit of hoomans enjoying the EXPLODING of things. sigh.This be my dog bed.....

OH, Minna. I'm so very sorry that it was so skeery last night. Have you come out from under the bed yet? Guess what happened to us? We had a HUMONGOUS storm with lotsa lightning and thunder boomers AND peoples were still shooting off firecrackers! It didn't bother me TOO much but it was like my Brudder Ranger's very worst nightmare.

Oh Minna, I was teriffied last night. I dnb't know where you live..I live off of West Road and 45..but it was like a war zone over here. I kept pacing all afternoon cause they started over here like a 5 pm. I sat in Mommy's lap under a blanket while she was watching TV shaking like a leaf. When it was time to go to sleep I hid under the bed until it was safe to come out.

We only have really bad fireworks here on halloween. That's when the peoples can buy them... and when I hear them I don't get scared, I get MAD! I just want to go outside and tell all the peoples to knock it off! Mom puts the tvs on real loud to help with me not hearing anything but sometimes a boy just has to go outsides to do some important business, if you know what I mean!

I feel so badly for all the furiends who are bothered by the boomies. I don't think it's a matter of being scared. I think it's whether it hurts your ears or not. Because otherwise somedogs would get over the fear and I don't know any, no matter how brave, that ever have. What you need is a soundproof room. I hope you get one in time for next year.

I feels for you girlfuriend. Mom said I did OK last night, not as bad as last year when I was a wee pup. I paced a bit when the boomers started then I fell asleep at mom's feet. :)

I hope they're all over at your house by now! We had a slumber party in the basement Saturday night, but really, Lilac is the only one who cares. She was happy to stay in her safe little crate cave, though. You do have a very cute bed, though!

Everybody needs their special safe spot. Morgan gets in the bathtub and waits till the booms are over. Monty used to sit in the closet. The silly Porties just run around in circles, barking.
