Oh, we hear you on the heat! We got Dad to take us up north to Wisconsin where it's cooler to go for a hike. We're also fond of playing in the kiddie pool to cool off and eating Frosty Paws! We hope you cool off soon!

We so understand, Minna K. The only way to stay cool here is to stay inside and pray the a/c doesn't break down.

HI MINNA KREBS !!! I am sooooo very much glad that you and I are BOTH back.
I could NOT believe your story about the TREE RAT HEAD... BaWaaaaaah.. That sounds like something every Dachshund just DREAMS of getting to do!!! Whoooooie!
I'm still tickled about it. Thanks for the grrrreat laugh.
Of course that requires a story in return. One year for Father's Day... the three short hairs (that came before me) made a dead ground mole for (their) my dad. He was THRILLED. My mom tells me that story all the time. She put it in a butter tub and WRAPPED it all up with a bow and everything. I guess that Baron, Lisel, and Sarek were QUITE proud of their gift making skills. hehehe

Hi Minna....oh dogs and cats is it hot here too
once again we're expecting 100 real temps for the next two days with hum-i-dity high enough to wilt straw!!!

Mom says thank you for the very nice compliment on our header. Mom took that picture last weekend. YEP she and Dad abandoned me in search of cooler temps.
By the time they reached 3500' elevation in Blowing Rock, NC there was no hum-i-dity. Mom said there was a nice breeze that felt like September.
We LOL and MOL at your mom's new profession of sprinkler mover.
