We has to cut him off, due to time constraints here in the blog (he is now thanking the dog food manufacturers and Vet Techs he has known in life.. sigh)
A BIG shout out to all the peeps who worked sooooooo hard on the Picnic!!!! What a wonderfully fun event!!!!
..........oh yeah......and since Rooney is so busy with his acceptance speech, we decided that receiving da actual prize would be more than he could stand. We all decided that it would be most appropriate if the prize package be mailed to the picnic honoree, Charlie. So the Slimmer Puggums have kindly agreed to mail the pawsome goodies bag and 50 gift card directly to him. ENJOY Charlie!!!

Dear Lucy - sorry about that whole donkey sacrifice thing... you'll be happy to know (but not surprised) that the donkey was very uncooperative. In fact, it was downright stubborn! Never could get it herded into the sacrificial fire pit (I was going to offer it up to the god of weird little wiener dogs hoping that P Doggy would return to her blog) so you see... it was all for a good cause. Next time I'll offer up a squirrel instead. Yeah, I'm pretty sure there'll be a next time...

It was a fantastic picnic and auction for sweet Charlie.. .I know he and his peeps felt the love. Mom is already crocheting another scarf so she'll be ready for the next event.
