......here comes my momma. 

So, yesterday my momma went to a fun-fundraiser for Dachshund Rescue of Houston.   A whole bunch of doxin lovers went to a place called Painting With a Twist, and all created a beautiful (?) Doxin-themes painting.   The creative juices were enhanced by da wine and snackies the ladies had whilst learning to paint.  

Painting With a Twist donated 75 percents of the fee to Dachsund Rescue. (good thing.....cuz they prolly wouldn't have made too many greenpapers selling the final art )

What a fun time!  And everyone left with a doxin painting, made with love (and wine)

Unfotunately, I must report that my momma will be returning to her office job today.    Her aspiration to become a full-time Artist don't appear to be an option......

To summarize what we are doing lately, I use this foto to illustrate.     In summary, a lot of NOTHING.   Sigh

We are counting da hours and minutes until da big Tax DeadLion is slayed once again.  Until then, we just hangin out (all bored and stuffs) watching my momma come and go (mostly go) at all hours.  Sigh.

I am missing you ALL........butt will be back after April 17th. (yeppers, da evil Deadlion is two days longer this year.  Sigh, again)

Shopping Trip Fiasco

Pickles here, reporting to you from my local Houston-Blogville, Texas Petco store.

I went with my momma for a quick trip to pick up a few doggie necessaries.  Usually, these trips are enjoyable, and I score a 'Pickles Only' treat, that I eat on the way home (so MinnaK etc don't find out)

Who knew, this trip, her would spot the pink doggie travel bag, and decide to try it out.

This is NOT a good look for me

Obsessed

My momma is OBSESSED....and NOT with a doxin!  

Her got this new-fangled machine that lives up on da kitchen counter.  No big deal, right?....WRONG.  This machine has taken over her mind, and negatively affected OUR lives. 

Before this machine came to live on da counter, her FIRST priority every morning was the care and feeding of the beloved doxins (us).   Now her gets all excited and giggly over which little white Nom-cup her is going to put in da machine!     We have been delegated to a distant second place.

And her is collecting those Nom-cups like they is going out of style!    She brings all different kinds home by the boxload, and delights in all the different flavors and varieties available.   They LOOK like cute little treats, butt trust me, these Nom-cups taste TERRIBLES.....cuz we tried to taste one that I stole from da trash can. Yuck!

I'm starting to get concerned.

We think they turned out just pawfect.  Especially the tribute of 5 Paws and A Rainbow for the Fearless Five!


Now my momma thought of da words and the general idea fur the squares....butt Uncle Chris created them on the Super-duper Embroidery Thread-Picture Machine Thingy he gots.   (dont want you to think MY momma is talented enuffs to hand stitch this stuffs! )
